hi

I am trying to simulate 2 circuits in protues and each circuit has one pic mikro 18f4620, 20*4 lcd and RS 232 COM PORT, and when I simulate each circuit alone,it works correctly with real time simulation but when I simulate the two circuits together the simulation is not real time and RS232 simulation is working in one direction only(send or receive mode)

So, is it possible to simulate the above two circuit together in the same time?? plz advice??

**broken link removed**

plz see above link

thanx alot8-O8-O

thank you for your support.
i have laptop with i3 intel core and I think its good but the problem is can not work the project in send and recive at same time
also i reduced clock speed and switch laptop to high performance mode but still program is not working???

any help or suggestions plz???

What do you mean when you say it's not working?
Working slower than real rime is not the same as not working, do you get an error in simulation?

There is a simulation time indicator at the bottom of the application screen, you can use that, why is real time a requirement for the simulation?

The simulation is not working correctly because i am using RS 232 WITH full duplex and my program as follows
i have tow pic mikro 18f4620 and when the value changed in pic #1 it wil send the value to pic #2 and vise versa
but the simulation is working in one direction , i mean if the value changed in pic #1 ,it will send it to pic #2 but if the value changed in pic #2 ,it is not sending anything to pic #2 ( the problem is one pic can send and the other one can receive)

also i tested each program alone and it is working correctly. but the problem still with simulating 2 pic together??

how can i solve it????????????

If you attach the project maybe someone will be able to provide a solution, maybe it's the code maybe it's something else but we can't understand from the description of the problem what can be the cause

Did you try to simulate the circuit separately (i.e.) One pic at a time?

it could be done. you have to seperately program the micro controllers. then run it .Ensure that your modified program appears there.
