Dear all Pros,
i am new for learning HFSS, attached file including a SMP connector only and con with given 50ohm RF trace on PCB, and this smp con i download from Hirose website.

i like to verify the performance for this connector, and which s parameter presents pool performance, i think this con might be match with 50ohm term by ansys circuit, but i cant copy this model, i have no idea the setting is correct or not.

moreover, when i like import this con with PCB to simulate, the SW presents the following message, the RF trace had already verify at 10 to 20 GHz on given PCB stackup, what can i slove the above issue?

Hello,

Are you using HFSS 3D Layout project and then using 3D component to consider the connector CAD?

This will be the recommended way. If you are doing something else, please describe and I may help further.

Hi RFMCSIP,
much appreciate for ur reply, i got brd file from layout team, import brd with HFSS 3D layout to modified the PCB stackup, material and so on...
then export the file to HFSS, i had already verified the RF trace at 10 to 20 GHz first (Modal lump port), and import Hirose SMP connector into PCB to do co-sim (wave port), but the return loss is pool, i have no idea what happen.
