looks like good work and I guess rather good sound quality.
But you write "simple". Using a dedicated audio amplifier chip seems - to me - much simpler.
So I guess you have your reasons why you built it this way. Tell us about it.
Is it more because of sound quality ... or more because of the "discrete" design.
