what is qt?

Hello,

I have heard about QT but I don't know what is. Something like TK?

This is a toolkit that allows you to develop cross platform applications.

**broken link removed**

It is a GUI development environment like Motif or X11 - but more easy to use and program an App.

"...Qt is a C++ class library for writing GUI applications that run on UNIX..."

QT is a set of libraries for building applications under Linux or under Windows without doing any changes in your code. (www.trolltech.com)
