It’s a simple device that inform about any sound that comes from PC sound card. After detect sound, device call to your phone.
The simplest solution was to use mobile phono like nokia 3510i and pressing on two buttons.
System description:
“device” consist ofcourse mobile phono, with microcontroler AtTiny13 at back side and lithium-ion laptop battery, that is plug to cell phono by original battery system (doesn’t work without that)
instead attiny13 I considered to put some time system and some counters that will start right pins at phone, but then board will be twice bigger then phone. Now I have simple solution with great tuning possibility!
Microcontroller have those tasks:
1. detect high condition at input pin.
- it this case it blink diode
2. press 3 times red earpiece button with 100ms brakes (to avoid any shit like redeemable sms etc.)
3. wait 4 seconds until sound from computer stop (maybe it’s not necessary function)
- turn off the led
4. pressing earpiece
5. wait 20 connection seconds
6. pressing red earpiece
- blink led
- flash led
- after 2 seconds turn off led
At sleep mode phone need a few mA, when display flash – 150mA, at ringing time I couldn’t check as my ammeter can’t check such low.
Pressing buttons is thanks to bc337 transistors.
Casing is not very impressive but you shouldn’t gripe.
