Hello~

I'm a college student living in an apartment in a bedroom with no windows. I'd like to set up a lighting system that will simulate the sun rising in the morning and setting in the evening. I'd like a lamp to gradually come on in the morning, and gradually dim out at night. However, I don't want the lamp to stay on when I leave the room during the day, so perhaps I could use a motion or voice activated sensor to turn it on & off.
I have no wiring skills so I'd like to accomplish this project with store-bought items, but I can't seem to find any single dimmer/timer that would fit my needs.

Suggestions greatly appreciated.

any idea?? help me plz
