This simple construction was based on Atmega16, 16x2 LCD display and consists of external sensor DS18B20, internal sensor SHT11. DS3231 is used for the time countdown. The display used makes the clock well readable even from a distance. Dimensions of the reading box: 100x24mm. There is an external resistor added, because backlight consumed too much current (160mA) and the stabilizer heated up significantly. With the resistor, it consumes 90mA. Stabilizer does not heat up itself, does not heat the laminate and SHT11.

There is a filter SF1 on SHT, what prevents from its damage from water (because even a small drop of water can possibly damage the humidity sensor in SHT).

The clock is equipped with normal functions such as measuring the time and temperature, it also has an automatic change of summer/winter time and the presentation of the maximum and minimum outdoor temperature.

Program was written in Bascom and takes approximately 60% of the processor's memory.

Housing was made of a piece of bent plexiglass.

List of elements used:
  • Atmega16
  • DS3231
  • DS18B20
  • SHT11
  • display
  • SF1 filter
