24cxx usb programmer

Hi to all,
I’m trying to make usb to i2c interface to program 24cxx eeprom. I’m using FT232BM in bit-bang mode, and can successfully write a byte to eeprom but have some problems reading from eeprom.
My primary goal Is not to use any additional mcu to program i2c eeprom through it. Something like usb clone of JDM84. :?
Anyone have experience with ft232 ? help…
Best regards.

You can use the chip without the EEPROM ...tryi it ..maybe you have a bad part!
