Simple DAC op amp testing circuit

Dear all
First I want to thank you all for this site.
I tried to assemble simple DAC in the attached pic.
https://obrazki.elektroda.pl/31_1319960218.jpg
that I took it from this page:
**broken link removed**
but the results are wrong ,
the equation for it : Vout=-(v1in+v2in/2+v3in/4) , so
do I need to use negative voltages for digital inputs to get that result ?
because I used the TTL output as inputs and they wrote negative voltage in the output (111 will give -7v )
or is there other thing ?.
thanks a lot and best regards
Fareez

It's an inverting amplifier, so you get negative output with positive input or vice versa. A dual OP power supply is required however.

In which regard you get wrong results?

if you want the positive pouput use onemore inverting amplifier at the output with dual power supply
