Hi all,
I have a strange problem with the SIM808 about the timing. More specifically it seems that the SIM808 RTC module losses many minutes when the module is power off.
I had tested with 12-hour power off and after the power on the SIM808 gave me the time with 30min elapsed from the real time!!!!
I repeated the tests with more than one SIM808 modules and moreover with 2 different versions the S2-10606-Z1F01 and S2-1060C-Z1F03.
The battery for RTC was 2032 type.
In the past I had worked with father of SIM808 the SIM908 and I had no problem with the RTC time (has about 1 and some second elapsed from Real Time for 4 month power off).
Do you have faced any problem with RTC timing of SIM808?
