Whether 6 pin sim card holder & 8 pin sim holder are pin compatible? Please help
 

Hi,

Usually pin 7 & 8 are used to detect the SIM presence pin 6 (VPP) is kept open. Can tell you more if you let me the the part number of that connector. pin compatible? Yes. This is an optional interface and depends upon logic. For help and better understanding see this link
