smartspice benchmarks

Anybody tried to compare SmartSpice with Spectre and Hspice?

How is its speed, capacity and convergence?

Also, how does Harmony AMS stack against the big-3 mixed signal simulators?

In my opinion ,I think Hspice is the better one.

how about 64bit spice tool

64bit hspice Vs 64bit smartSpice

which is fast & accuracy

smartSpice

I used it for two months, it does not show any difference from Hspice or eldo.

I did model development for silvaco around 2000 and now doing the compact modeling for smartspice. So far , silvaco was trying to deliver the colone of hspice at a much cheaper rate. So, the device model and the convergences are same bit by bit.
However, in the past silvaco's smartspice has almost always problem with the delta difference between smartspice version to version.

I use the SmartSpice.

Where can I get a evaluation copy of SmartSpice ?

We have two machines set up for smartspice 64, dual thread 1.4GHz. These machines are 10x the speed of hspice on a 2.1GHz desktop when running medium-sized switching converters (3k-5k gates), just like silvaco advertises. I am not sure why neoflash did not see an improvement - I find analog cells like UVLO, etc to be a few times faster, and large switching or digital cells to be much faster.

A few other benchmarks - hspice is about 8x faster than T-spice, and 14x faster than top spice on medium (3k-5k gates) switching converters.

hspice release 64bit hspice or not ?
