Shunt Voltage reference and figuring out the Rbias

Shunt Voltage Reference

I would like to use ADR510 chip in my board as 1.0 V voltage reference and am attatching the circuit and the specs. The load on the circuit is 7kohm. I am not sure what Rbias should be used for a supply voltage of 3.5V.

Rbias = (Vs - Vout)/(IL + IQ)

Vs = 3.5V
Vout = 1V
IL = 1/7000 = 0.14mA
IQ = ? ( operating range says 100uA to 10mA) so can I take in any value and plug in to the equation to find out Rbias.

You are correct. One thing to consider is the load current variations. The shunt regulator will adjust itself to make up the difference so you need to insure that the current it draws will not go outside the rated range.

Okay cool thanks ! Now can I use this as reference voltage for 2 loads (A/D converters) after taking into account their individual loads ( as parallel resistor combination) ?

If you allow enough current for the shunt regulator and both ADC inputs, then you can, but I would use a buffer ..
