synopsys license file

Hi,

I installed Synopsys IC compiler on a Linux machine and have license.dat file as well. but I don't know how to set the license file for this software. And also, do I need to set any other Environment variables in order to run all the executables?

Thanks,

synopsys astro with ic compiler license

master_picengineer,

Hello it seems that no one is going to answer this question. So it's only us. Would you please tell me the Linux platform on which you installed this software?

Thanks

ic complier license

It is very simple.
Just point environment variable SNPSLMD_LICENSE_FILE to your license file or license server.
And the path of lc_shell and milkyway to your PATH environment.
The Milkyway is another package you can find in Astro or get standalone Milkyway package.
