Hello there.

If PVS DRC/LVS rule deck uses variables (path to command files folder, metal option, etc. ) then is it possible to set/modify/store them within Cadence PVS environment?
Just like we can set and store such variables in a runset file with Mentor Calibre Interactive (Setup->Set Environment Variables).

I found the only way how to set/modify variables to be used by PVS rule deck: SKILL command setShellEnvVar("variable_name=variable_value").

But I would like to know how to store them, shall we say, in a preset or config file to be used by the tool to get rule deck variables?

Thank you!

Did you check the foundry user manual?
You can probably define the settings in header file including pointer to runset file. Then execute pvs deck.
