Hi guys, I'm busy working on a Acer labs LCD monitor - Model AL1717.
I would really appreciate it if anybody could upload a service manual for me.

The symptoms of the fault are scrolling wavy horizontal lines about 2-3cm apart, i think its a faulty filter cap causing the problem.

hi all,

do you know how to feed at 12v DC the Acer AL1717 monitor?
I am asking because I know that the smaller one has an external device that tansforms AC powe 240v to DC power 12V. Now, I want to use it with DC 12V, so I want to bypass the transformer. Do you have atrick? asiviero1@gmail.com
