Hello,I am trying to build series fed array with binomial taper with link attached.
How does a different anplitude feeding is caused by different size of patches?
We change the length thus effective dielectric constant is changin ther resonance changes.
so how does it mean that feeding amplitude changes?
Thanks.

The effective dielectric constant is influenced by the dimensions and the material properties of the patch. When the width is changed, the electric field distribution changes, leading to a change in the effective dielectric constant.

The feed amplitude of each patch in a series patch array can change due to various factors:
Current distribution, impedance matching, phase differences, and mutual coupling effects can cause unequal amplitudes to be applied to the individual patches.
When the width of various patches is changed, the mutual coupling between patches changes, resulting a change of the feed amplitudes.
