Can we directly control the output voltage (0 or 1) of each serial port pin using VC++ progrem? or by any other methods?

Hi,

For control the output voltage (0 or 1) of each serial port pin you can use EscapeCommFunction function or SetCommState function, for more info read at MSDN.

Enjoy

Using SetCommState you can only manipulate RTS and CTS you can not manipulate TXD as TXD is the output of the USART transmit register.

hope this helps

If you visit h**p://www.beyondlogic.org/ you can down load a free program called PortTalk. This allows you to control all i/o ports without restriction.
