Can anybody suggest a good book on interfacing PC's Serial port. Actually i want to control an electronic circuit from PC.

hi,

I think that the parallel port will be easier . you can use up to 8 signals and control any one of them. you can use inpout32.dll:

if you still want to use the serial port you don't need any DLL. microsoft has mscomm32.ocx.

can ethernet port also be used in the interfacing? how? anybody knows a book?

tnx..
