Hi everyone,
I've got such a problem: I've got 56k modems from US Robotics (exactly USR815630D) and I wanted to change it on the other but here's a problem. I suppose they've got different states of each/some lines of RS232 when call or connection occurs. And my device can't read that the connection has place. I can change this states on my new modems but I don't know how this states are in US Robotics. So can somebody tell me something about states of RS232 in this USRobotics modem? (e.g. maybe when RING occurs RI line is taken from high to low etc.). Or maybe some ideas how to check that states?
