Hi,
Can I simulate Serial Data to uC UART without using PC com port in Proteus?
Thanks

Hi,

Using the Virtual Terminal model.
For more info look for 8052 Basic example in the samples folder

Bye

Hi,
But I dont want to use terminal.
I want simulate some repeated data.
Like data coming from Weighing Balance..... in a fixed structure with different values.

Try the Pattern Generator Virtual Instrument (up to 1k repeatable digital pattern) or, if your repeated signal is simple just place a standard generator and wire to that.

If it's a complicated affair, use some circuitry to generate your signal, place a probe on the output line, set probe to record, then replace circuitry and probe with tape object, load recorded data set and wire to uC. Not only will this fly but if you have used analogue circuitry to generate your signal it will be a heck of a lot faster than simulating all that...
