Hello,

I want to have a sensor for notifying me when the water level has fallen. I have the following device so far. A sensor sending the notification to an Arduino, and then an arduino talking to an Android phone. Is there any sensor or any other way that I could talk directly to a phone? I do not want to have the Arduino, ust a sensor that will send the notification to a phone.

If I should use other sensor or something completely different please let me know.

Thanks!

adruino offers a variety of modules that could communicate with a smart phone.
1) GSM modules.
2) Bluetooth module
3) Ethernet module (server or client )
All above you found at adruino web site and in google with adruino projects.
You may found a 4-20mA loop sensors for liquid sensors.
Hope that helps.
