Hi,
Say with an offline Two Tran Forward (2TF), 106-373VDC input, 24V output and 130W.
120kHz.
Most of us would not choose to put any sensitive circuitry (eg a power supply controller, comparators, opamps, etc)
underneath the 2TF's output inductor, but we must do this to save space (not the 2TF power controller, but a separate secondary
side buck bias supply controller, RT6204).
I appreciate its not academically correct to put sensitive circuitry under inductors that have a high dv/dt switching node in them.
But it needs to be done when space is tight.
Do you have any reservations about putting sensitive circuitry under high dv/dt inductors?
I mean, shovel a ground plane between the inductor and the sensitive circuitry and its usually fine.
Any stories of disasters from doing it?
