SEMCAD IS FDTD SOFTWARE

I have used SEMCAD on a trial basis. It seems to take a lot longer than CST's MWS to do similar analysis. Has anyone else had experience with it?

Hear it for the first time.

FDTD code is relatively easy to write, I guess that is why there are so many products. It is not easy to make it fast, though.

Hi,

FDTD is a powerful method; anyway, an important thing is the conformal feature. With that you can have a much more efficient simulation.

So SEMCAD has conformal feature?

[Conformal is available on QW3D(qwed) ,CST, Fidelity(ver.4.o from Zeland) and Empire(IMST).

How do know about Fidelity 4.0, has it been released?

As far I know, Emipire uses staircase aproximation and no conformal scheme.
Does anyone have experiences with Q*u*i*c*k*W*a*v*e (conformal fdtd),www.qwed.com.pl, as it is C/S/T competitor?
