In a rear original Romet lamp there is a plate with two LEDs made in SMD technology. A coil is connected to it. Although without load, the electromagnet can give more than 9V, after plugging LEDs, they do not break.

Bright SMD LEDs were used in this project. 3 magnets from HDD and a coil from a HP laser printer. Note, do not use electromagnets with a mobile anchor.

Conclusions
  • the largest productivity is the coil and 2 LEDs connected in parallel with reverse polarity
  • selection of appropriate LEDs is important (in this project, ones with a high brightness and angle of 140 degrees were used)
  • the simpler, the greater the satisfaction
  • two white diodes connected on the second coil light very well
