Seeking Radial power resistor

WHere is your spec for Watts, Ohms? Size? Normally axial square ceramic wirewound resistors are very inductive too. So include this in spec.

Watts. Many as possible..Its for a universal load bank.....the resistors must be solder on/solder off, and no 4-screws type as in the HS series.
TO247 looks the biggest there is...I was hoping for something about twice as big in that kind of case shape & with the two legs, but doesn't seem to exist.
Ohms...will need 0.01 to 1k in e24 say.

Why radial?
Does size matter?
Why no limit to power?
Why onboard?
Why inductance does not matter ? No PWM?
What current?
What cost?
How many?

Can you learn to be more specific?

How about Nichrome Wire like in a toaster? Cut in length and use in Serial/Parallel to match R.

Did you realize that the high power capacity of the TO247 power resistor can be only utilized with an appropriate heat sink? So if you are planning a high resistor bank, you'll start do design the heat sink geometry required for the total power.

A bank of large air cooled resistors can work at higher surface temperature and may a more effective solution for your design problem.

yes, they mounted on heatsink with fan stuck underneath the "chimney" created by the heatsinks.....
You get , in radial, TO220, then TO247, ....in that series, what's the next one up?
