Look at the Micron Data sheets for it's SDRAM Devices. data sheets are really complete. They have explained every point you need to know about SDRAMs Clearly.
Yes, I have read one of Micron's datasheet. I understand the basic read/write access, reflash. I would like to know more detail about "precharge". Why precharge?
The datasheet saids " The PRECHARGE command is used to deactivate the open row in a particular bank or the open row in all banks. The bank(s) will be available for a subsequent row access a specified time (tRP) after the PRECHARGE command is issued. "
