I am having a sensor which is to be used for some measurement, and this sensor is SDI-12 Protocol Sensor.

So how can i receive and send command to this sensor.
I read something about this sensor and found that it works on 1200 Baud Rate.

After searching on Google, i found this circuit

https://www.daycounter.com/Circuits/SDI-12/SDI-12-Interface.gif

I replace the IC with Buffer IC 74HC245 and Mosfet with Transistor but this is not working for me.
I am using PC RS232 and Hyper-terminal port to send SDI-12 Commands to the sensor but i am not getting any response.

What shall i do now.
If someone has knowledge regarding this, please help me
