Screw terminal connector ok for 3 Amps?

Datasheet says it's rated for 16A. That would be of course for the maximum wire size it accepts (12 gauge), which provides the greatest contact area. And I consider all ratings as optimistic anyway, I try to undershoot them by at least 25% in practice. But 3A should be no problem. I sometimes use a non-contact IR thermometer if there's any question, if you're pushing the limits you'll see some heat.
