[SOLVED] Schottky as simple rectifier

hello, I want to use a schottky barrier rectifier, as rectification bridge, for a 12v circuit.
i got these S30D45C from some dead psu's.

can I use them ?

Yes, you'll need three or four devices.

i hoped to build it with just two, never used them before, but i saw its like this printed on the ic ->| X |<-
so i guessed that the X would be the + and the other X of the other IC would be the gnd.

Yes, they are common anode, as all standard dual schottky rectifiers. Review the datasheet.

So to do this with two devices you need either two "D" devices or one "C" and one "A".
Two "C" devices can't be connected as the schematic above.
