Dear Friends,
Warm Greetings for the day. I have one doubt in Orcad Capture CIS 9.1. I am using a new type of Microchip IC. i cant find library file for that kind of IC. So that I have edited two pin Connector manually i have add all the Pins. Now i need use all the times, means i will use that component frequently. Each and every time copying component from Old Schematic doing much more time to use....
Now my question is how can i import that edited component into Orcad library for my future use..

For your Attention:
*IC name is PIC18F66K77
*I added this component to my schematic by manual editing (Edit Part)

Thanks in advance... Cheers ahead guys:lol:

hi,
Go Project Manager and double click the Design Cache copy your updated Symbol Part after that create new library (file-->new-->Library) .
paste your copied symbol in that library and save it in your location.

Dear Kabaleevisu,
Greetings!

I followed as you stated in previous thread.. I cant see any options for Copy. Project Manager---Double clicked on Design cache----Left clicked on My part to store(No respone.. See image i added). If i do Right click, it showing Property box..I think i am asking silly questions. anyway i need to know the answer.

I tried with EDIT menu in the tool bar.. after selecting my Part(which one need to store in library) i just clicked Edit---Copy---File---New---Library---Ctrl+v.....But no response in the Orcad window).. kindly tell the proceedure to do correcty...

Thank you guys..Have a sweet Coffee..

Hi Kabaleevisu,

My mistake is instead of CTRL+V have to use edit menu--->Paste.. Right its working well.. Thanks for your co-operation....

Cheers.. Enjoy the week end...
