Saturation current of inductor?

Hello,

Do yo uknow what is the saturation current in the ELC09D102 inductor (datasheet doesnt tell it)

its 1mH.

Datasheet says "0.28ADC"

.....but is this the saturation current? , or the max allowable rms current?

Seems like Panasonic doesn't provide the information. If your crystal ball doesn't tell it, you may want to measure it yourself. Or refer to a product with more complete specification.

In any case, a saturation current number is a kind of soft limit, you need to inspect the L versus I characteristic for the exact behaviour.
