Is there good reasons to think that this more expensive

is technologically different than this plain bare built TV antenna ?

What is your opinion ? To sell more on higher profit, give it a face lift so it does not look antique ?
Or yes, is an entirely new wonder of performance design ?

Without knowing what’s inside, I’d be an idiot to answer. Never judge a high-gain directional antenna with low noise amplifiers by its cover.
