Hello,

I am looking for a suitable SMD filter for an RS232 and an PS connection. The baudrate is 9600 Bauds and the environment is very noisy from 1Mhz upwards. I would appreciate any suggestion.

Thanks a lot and best regards,

mimoto

Have you considered using RS485 instead of RS232?

RS485 uses differential pairs and should be nearly immune to noise ...

best regards

The CNF41R222S is three terminal noise filter based on multilayer chip capacitor technology....
You can find it in RS-Components web site; stock number 214-6057 (Australian catalogue).

Murata offers all what you need to filter RS232 signals.
