It is a simple adapter for the RS232 port, which allows you to control independently two devices and read states of four inputs through one COM port. The adapter connects inputs and outputs by transoptors. Installation demo version of the program to support the adapter with scheme can be found in the attachment on the original thread. The program allows you to control the outputs, read the inputs states and visualize the states on the graph.
Below you can see pictures of the device, scheme and the view of the program window. It was written to allow you to test the operation of a sensor without its physical connection. You can „simulate” activation of an input by clicking on the diode that indicates the state. The outputs can be set to work as independent generators of the set times. Each input can be set as a pulse counter that counts rising, falling of both.
