Hi

I am searching an algorithm for rotating an logo by using matrix math, or similar, to be viewed in an graphical LCD. The logo in this case is circle shaped in 2dimension, more like a coin that is flipped. I could use gif but would like to see other options.

Also, I would like to see a c implementation of the rotating globe logo as used by many news stations. This is related to above question but more for fun and learning.

Any sugestions appreciated.

Re: rotating logo

As you may already know there is lot of references online for this topic, and I am in paralell to hoping for someone to pinpoint the site I have missed having the solution ready for C, I also try to implement the algorithm myself whenever time is on my side. For you ans others here are some nice sites describing most techniques behind rotating matrix used to have the rotaing logo as we wish.

The math behind can be found here and here

Example found for c++ : look here

This site discuss the math somehow: look here

This site is a good reference for any subjects, not only rotating matrix: Go **broken link removed**
