Ripple current capacitor

Hi,

I found a video about measuring capacitor current ripples. I would like to understand where this pattern comes from? Why the square root of each harmonic? The result is for 120Hz because the multiplier for 120Hz is 1?

Generally, root of summed squares is how you calculate total RMS of multiple frequency components. In this case with additional weighting factors to calculate equivalent heating effect referred to 120 Hz rating.
 
So the calculations are for 120Hz because weight 1 refers to 120Hz. With this current for 120Hz, we can calculate the maximum ripple current for 10kHz by multiplying the current value for 120Hz by 2.25?

I(120Hz) = 773mA
I(10kHz) = 773mA * 2.25 = 1.73A

Am I right?
