I would like to ask the usual (based on experimentation) ripple content of a standard Lithium ion battery.

I guess, you need to explain the question. What's "ripple content"? If you are referring e.g. to ripple current, it's primarly a load related quantity.
 
I'm referring to the ripple voltage that's coming out from the Li-ion battery. Although, I have seen in many applications that a very large capacitor is usually used to filter out ripples but I still want to know if there's an an acceptable voltage ripple from it.

For simulation purposes, I need to assume a voltage ripple from the battery.
 

How do you expect a battery to produce a ripple voltage? I can hardly imagine it. Large capacitors are used e.g. in mobile phones to smooth the pulsed transmitter current towards the battery and reduce the dynamical battery impedance.
 
Sir/Maam, it appears to me that there's no ripple (ac content) from the battery. Am I right?
