PCB EMI shielding

Hi, I am looking for rf shielding material on a pcb-board for a microwave transmitter. It can be through-hole or surface mount with a preference to the second. The shielding should fulfill these specs:

*low cost - so no custom made is possible
*good shielding at 5 GHz
*enough flexibility of how to define the size of the shielded area with good granularity
* preferrably with removable top lid for rapid prototyping

Any suggestions?
Thanks

Re: PCB EMI shielding

8) use copper box with tin plating and solder it to your pcb.

have you ever opened a cell phone, they use a plastic shield with copper coating.

PCB EMI shielding

copper box is expensive

PCB EMI shielding

How about 3M copper tape.

Re: PCB EMI shielding

8) 3M shielding tape will be much more expensive than copper.
Any way what is your application, if copper is costlier try to Use Tin or Iron plated with Nickel .
