RF chokes when using plasma probes

I misunderstood, i thought you were trying to probe DC, so yes the cap would charge to DC and attenuate the high frequencies.
 

I'm just trying to eliminate as much interference as possible. So the 100 nF capacitor between cable and gnd at the end of the coax is ok then?
 

That's according to my thought to place it at the BNC side. The suggestion to place it between the node connecting both inductors and ground sounds reasonable as well. In any case, you should check the residual RF level at the other cable end by connecting an oscilloscope of suffcient bandwidth.
