Review of PCB Footprint

Hi All,

Can someone review the footprint in the picture pls :) ?

The picture from the datasheet (on the right), says "Bottom View" - would that mean that I have to mirror it before drawing the component footprint?

So Pin1 should be Pin6 instead (for instance)?.

(By the way the red is the Top Layer in my footprint)

Hi,

You are right. Bottom view means exactly that: if you flip the chip over and look at the bottom of the chip it looks like the picture ;p

I would follow the IPC-7351 recommendations and have your solder mask opening the same size as the pads.
 

The view of the footprint is in bottom view and you have given the pin numbering in same bottom view.
You must flip the pin numbers.Keep the pin 1 in the top left corner and increase pin numbers anti clockwise.
