Response of the circuit

Hi, I wanted to know how to intuitively find the step response of a circuit with two capacitors in series with one resistor. Does the location of capacitor matters ?

Why don’t you run a simulation?

and, you want to know if it matters which of two IDENTICAL 1pf capacitors is placed first matters in a circuit? (Hint, it doesn’t matter, even if they’re different values).

What is the period of the source voltage? Where is the reference point of the output voltage?

Well, it will do SOMETHING. Just not anything useful. Maybe it's a frequency dependent heater. OP wanted to know if position of capacitors will affect step response, and the answer is no.
