Hi,

Purpose is simulating effect of temperature range on simple BJT and resistor circuits with a stable DC supply. It's only for learning purposes, so objective is modelling a slightly more realistic resistor than a 0pp/ºC one.

In the TINA simulator, which fields in the resistor settings - image attached below - should I alter to model a (reasonably) realistic resistor, and which of the settings can I ignore for a basic understanding of how a circuit's output voltage may drift from 0 to 125ºC?

Which relates to ppm/ºC, and how would you write 50ppm/ºC in the relevant field?

Thanks.

Standard resistors vary linearly with temperature, which means you need to adjust the "Linear Temp coef (1/C)".
50 ppm/ºC = 50 u (ºC)^-1. So the value you should insert is 50u.
