Dear friends, I use Texas TL2575HV-12IKTTR to convert 21Vdc to 12Vdc and then feed this to a CCTV camera consuming about 550mA at 12Vdc. My problem is that the regulator gets overheated (above 100 degrees C) for this current well below the rated 1A. I used the application circuit prescribed in the TI datasheet page number 3. I have a faint idea that employing a different inductance value/type may reduce the heating within limits. Friends, I would be very glad if someone of you can guide me with your suggestions or ideas towards solving the problem ? Thanks a lot in advance!
