request for finding the problem

hi people.i n my computer ,if i use skype or google talk or messenger, there is only a one way transmission.i mean i can hear other persons voice in headset.but he cannot hear my voice.my microphone and headphones r workin properly .kindly tell me what to do

if u want to ur owm vioce
plz u click on START---Program---Accessories;----Entertainmnet---Volume control.
u go to option ----Property it check all then OK . and then click option take advanced control.
after that look on Microphone click on advanced check all
