Hi all
I have designed by wilkinson power divider in Rogers RT 5880 substrate while simulating.
Now i am unable to find the substrate for fabrication. I wish to know whether i can use any other substrate in place of it and obtain similar results?
Dielectric constant =2.2
Substrate Thickness=0.787mm
Conductor thickness =0.018mm

Thanks for the assistance!!

You can not use any other substrate since you have designed your planar structure with that one.
You may find some equivalents but I think even the di-electric coefficient becomes same, tanD will be different that will return back to you as more losses..
Why don't you try to re-design your planar structure with a easily available substrate ? If the frequency is not too higher than 2-3GHz, you may use FR4 that is very available around the world.

I think a good substitute can be Arlon Diclad 880, Nelco NY9217 or Taconic TLP-5. Check if they are available with the thickness you need.
I personally tested a circuit made in both Rogers 5880 and Diclad 880 and working in band C. I didn't find noticeable differences between them, at least at ambient temperature.

Taconic TLP-5 is twice as cheaper than RT 5880 and for a multistage power amplifier project working at 5.6 GHz gave me even better results than RT 5880 due to better rigidity properties (TLP-5 is not such as flexible).
