remote command mode on SIM900

The SIM 900 automatic switchs to data mode after data call is established. Exists a way how to switch remote SIM900 back to command mode during data call? I need to control SIM90's GPIO over data call. I tried +++, but it switched my local modem to command mode. Thanks for help.
