Relay polarised to non-polarised

Hi,

Can any one please suggest me how to change a relay from polarised to non polarised. I am using IM01GR and I swapped the pin 1 and 8. the relay is not working when I power in the wrong direction. I have created the PCB and I could not able to find a non polarised relay of same pin shape and size. Can any one suggest me a replacement for the above relay model or a non polarised circuit.
 

That's a kind of industry standard form. Unfortunately all these relays are polarized.
 
You might be able to blow out the catch-diode without
ruining the coil, if you're lucky and can "find the range".
Other than that, rewire (repin a connector, whatever).

But what's driving the relay may not like an un-caught
coil flyback any more than it likes a diode shorted load.
 
There's no diode built into these relays. They are truely polarized, involving a permanent magnet.

Can I please know will I be able to use a latching relay in my circuit and make it work without cutting tracks and by altering connections ?

I have attached relay circuit diagram. Pin 1 has to be 3V3 and pin 8 had to be connected to the transistor.

Your relay is connected backwards. You either have to cut traces or make a new board.

Latching relays are a special version of polarized relays. They either have two coils or need voltage of both polarities applied to a single coil. Obviosly the posted circuit can't do this.
 
Polarised relays have latching properties even without power. Direct replacement by non polarisedwould not work.
