enob vs dnl

I'm designing an adc first time. My reference book is Rudy van de Plassche " cmos integrated analog-to-digital and digital-to-anlog converters"2nd edition.
In the page 70, he said use a matlab program to abtain information about the INL and ENOB and INL and SFDR performance of converter. and solve the question"how accurate do i need to design the unit current or resistors to obtain a certain INL and /or DNL?"
I have thought this matlab program several weeks, but I can't finished. Can you give me some advice or reference paper or program?
thank you very much!
