Hallo Communication Experts,
am I correct to consider,
1. Low power with lower modulation type e.g 1db with bpsk and high power with higher order or
2. Low power with higher order e.g 1db with 64QAM and high power with low mod type.
I am confusing these two cases. which one is correct??? and reason?
give more info about your project
are you using commercial TX and RX modules ?
if so what are they ?
if not where did you source the TX and RX info ?
what maximum distances are you expecting between TX and RX ?
what data bitrates do you require?
What BER's ( Bit Error Rates) can you tolerate and still have reliable comms ?
and prob a few other questions I haven't thought of at the moment
Thanks alot Dave and tony, actually there is no project, I heard it back in my school that in Mobile communication system when you are near to the BTS, so power is high and then i confused with high power and low mod or high power with high mod. now i am clear that high power with high mod will give a good data rate...
High power with low modulation plan (QPSK) or vice versa are just for TX, i.e.base station or mobile TX, not receive side, so there is no relation with the distance from mobile to BTS.
